  • We went to ripley's for the deep sea soirĂ©e on vday and it definitely surpassed my expectations. I thought it was a bit gimmicky but the decorations, food, music, and displays were great. Lots of interactive areas of the aquarium and I really enjoyed the conveyor belt tunnel. As for vday event, the presentation of the food was very creative. There were mini heart shaped pizzas, fondue bar, endless hors d'oeuvres, and mini shrimp tacos. Admission was $50 and includes unlimited food and unlimited non alcoholic drinks, 1 drink ticket and 1 photo. There was also a live DJ spinning tunes from 8-12pm. Definitely worthwhile checking out for next year, especially if it is your first time at the aquarium. And did I mention there was a donut wall??
