| - I'm going to sound a little insane, but I was stalking this place for a while. I'd heard good things about it from my friend, who described it as "that godly place in the Strip that has five stars on Yelp." Naturally, I was a little curious. I swear, I checked their Facebook page every few days while it was closed for renovations to see when they'd be back up.
Well, as you guess by this review, I finally made it! And it was worth it.
ATMOSPHERE: while I hadn't been to the old one, the new interior is lovely and has many different seating options. Unfortunately, this place can get full quickly, so we were stuck at a table where the setting sun shone directly into our eyes.
SERVICE: amazing!! While we were waiting in line, one of the staff came out and asked if anyone had questions. I asked about one of the sauces on the menu, and he brought out said sauce with a small spoon for me to try it. If you're intimidated by the Spanish on the menu, just ask for help. Also, one of my friends wanted to switch out one of his sides for corn on the cob, and they were totally cool with it.
FOOD: my rosemary braised beef sandwich was delicious! I am a huge fan of crusty bread with big beautiful air pockets, and the meat was cooked to perfection. If you're at this place, it is basically assumed you love meat, so be ready to eat plenty of meat. However, two pieces of bread and all that beef was too much for me to bite at once, so I did an open-face sort of thing and used the other piece of bread to dip in their various sauces. I encourage you to test all the sauces and find your favorite!
