| - Well, after traveling from Phoenix to Philadelphia to pick up our son, our service, seats, and itinerary was a wonderful experience. However, coming back from Philadelphia, Delta Airline service was horrible! First, it was myself, fiancee, and our 3 year old son and Delta had us all spread throughout out the plane, and my son was arranged to seat at the end of the plane alone! Yeah, I know-it was crazy and unacceptable. I booked via Priceline.com, so they are to blame as well, but after contacting Delta several times, they insisted on charging and extra $29 for a near-by seat,unacceptable again. So, I tried one last time to correct this issue before canceling our trip (we had travel insurance-I recommend you do too) and was lucky enough to speak with someone American & understandable they rearranged our seats to sit together. Secondly,only 2 employee to check-in travelers and one was dedicated for Sky-miles members only! and at Philadelphia airport Delta changed the departing gate number and did not announce it, we had to run and lucky enough we made it while boarding zone 1-2. Third, at our connecting flight in Detroit, Delta changed gate number again, we barely made it, if it weren't for the Detroit Airport train shuttle-very cool by the way!, but we made in time again. This will be the last time we fly on Delta. I hope you have better luck than we did...
