YOU GUYS.
Fremont Street is literally Times Square on crack. It's definitely something to experience, but one time, is plenty.
Imagine a scene like this:
- A ceiling/rooftop full of constantly flashing LED lights
- Cheap casinos and bars lining the street
- Wildly dressed people displaying a variety of acts (break dancing, stripping, magic shows...etc)
- Drunk people carrying drinks the size of a yard stick puking in the street
- Honking of car horns constantly and loud playing music
- Women in thongs dressed as showgirls, Elvis, faux military men and "naughty cops" offering all passerby's to snap photos
- Packed to the gills with tourists, bartenders and singers
Insisting that we show our family "Old Las Vegas", we ventured here on a Saturday night and it was such a shit show. Most of us felt a little uncomfortable! I'm not sure I'd come back to this pocket of town (minus the Golden Nugget), in my next trip to Vegas!
