  • Worst moving experience of my life. I recommend and should have myself checked the BBB prior to booking as they have 29 complaints against them! I will also be filing my own complaints on false charges. This was my third move in the past 2 years, and this was by far the most unprofessional moving company I have dealt with. I booked this "company" a month and a half before my move date of June 22. The week of the move I heard nothing from this company, so emailed and was told I would receive a call the day before my move. I never received a call the day before my move and again had to call them to find out my timeframe which was supposed to be 12-4pm. The day of the move I called at 3:30 pm as I had heard nothing and was told the movers had underestimated the prior move and were running behind. They redirected movers who did not reach me until 6pm. These movers came into my apartment at 6pm viewed the items to be moved then left for 20 minutes prior to returning with two Dollys. I do not think it takes anyone 20 minutes to pick up two Dollys and floor runners My two bedroom apartment is 1100 square feet and I was moving within the same apartment and the same floor, "150 steps" quoted by the movers. Not only that but I also had moved out half the apartment already so by the time the two movers came there was left- one king bed with frame, two 10 lb nightstands, two TVs, one dressor with mirror, a sectional, tv stand, coffee table, bar stools, queen bed with rack and 13 boxes all less than30 lbs. These two movers managed to take 7 hours to move these items- took extremely long breaks, dragged their feet, and chatted with my neighbor. This was by far the most inefficient move And very strategic on their part as they charge by the hour. Also, while moving- one man stayed and organized items and sent the other back and forth with the dolly- also extremely inefficient! After being quoted for two hours, I was charged three times this amount. We had to talk to a manager/owner to discuss the situation and they cut the price by an hour and some- 145$ so we paid the 22nd. Two days later, today they charged my credit card without any notice the rest of their hourly amount. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
