Terrible experience here years ago and never got a chance to write a review about it. I wanted to make sure everyone who goes there knows to be careful.
When I first got my first Chihuahua. I was told she was an abused dog and I rescued her from a breeder. The first week I got her, I realized some of her teeth were dangling so I brought her in to this vet at Marina Animal Hospital.
The "doctor" Behzad told me that she has gum disease and I would have to have ALL her teeth removed and she would have to be fed ONLY soft food. I was in tears. If that wasn't the worst news I got, I was also told by the "doctor" it would cost $900.00. Still in tears driving home feeling sorry for my dog and being totally confused and stressed, I was losing it and had to stop the car so I can collect myself before I crash. I was given a suggestion by my mother to go to another vet and get a second opinion.
I brought her to Ripley Animal Hospital in Richmond Hill. YES, I drove all the way there just because that hospital was referred to me by a breeder and I didn't care driving an hour away from home obviously to ensure my dog is looked at by someone reputable.
Dr. Parmigano had 4 teeth removed and did a teeth and gum cleaning and she was good to go. It cost me $180.00.
Marina Animal Hospital lied to me and would have made my dog suffer for nothing! ONLY so they can collect $900.00.
Terrible!!!
