  • I still remember the first time I had a galley boy. When I was a lot younger, my father took me to Swensons after a soap box derby meeting. I can't tell you how much I enjoy the galley boy. It's so simple yet so perfect...a double cheeseburger with a special sauce. It has a slightly sweet flavor to it. I cant figure out if its the bun or just another part of the sauce, but it goes well with the richness of everything else. I've tried a few other sides and shakes, but have never ventured away from my old standby. Everything is really good. Exactly what you'd expect from an establishment trying to maintain traditions of the old drive in restaurants. Top notch service, the galley boy and the old timey feel are just a few reasons you should go to Swensons when you're in the area!
