  • I am a huge fan of dive bars, and the Backstop cerainly doesn't disappoint! We were here on a Tuesday afternoon. There was a decent crowd, considering the time. It's a large space - there is plenty of seating, a small stage for live music and a small dance floor. They have great specials. We shared a pitcher of PBR for only $6. They also have a vintage shuffleboard table, pool tables, darts and a boxing machine. It was a fun afternoon in a chill environment. I am not in BC often, but I'll be sure to stop in for a cold refreshing beer again soon!
