They had a product on sell before black Friday, day after Thanksgiving this year. The clerk was nice to hold the product as long as I made it up there same day which i did. I noticed my receipt sometime after I paid for it showed $2 less than the sale price of $49.99. It was a different clerk who rang me up for that price. I asked how long will that price go and I was told till end of Dec 2015. So few days later early Dec, I went back up there to Smiths to check to see if price was same and sure enough it increased $10. I went to the person who held my product the first time and said I'll have to talk to the manager as he paged her but she never came; so he went to her to ask and he came to me and said they'll only go for just that one time but I asked if there was a way they could work it to $45 since the person rang it up for $47 something which I didn't have the receipt that day. I said I'll think about it. Later I came back up there same day and I asked to speak to the manager since I didn't get a chance to do that. She came up to me and we talked about the price and she said the person who was going to agree to the sale price that he said I was rung up $49 as I told her my receipt says $47 something so how would she know if she was not there that she's believing what he said to her. So today, I called up Smith's corp office and spoke to Marsha, she gave me John Knoll's number to call but had problem people answering their phones so I got it another way. We went around and around on the phone him stating these clerks what they did wrong and shouldn't work there, etc. I got upset we weren't really resolving anything. I called back up Smith's corp and she said she'll see if John will get back to me to work something out, like she was in an hurry to get off the phone. I asked why in the world they put this item on sale if they are so 'worried' losing MONEY to their business. And why don't the director or manager not have a meeting prior to all this happening in the first place and not tell me about it as I was put in the middle of their problem in the first place. All I was doing to see if something could have been worked out and it didn't.
