It was my second visit for brunch at Starving Artist. This place has always a line up, we had to wait about 40 minutes for a group of 3. People coming by 2 were placed faster.
I ordered the waffle benedict and the peanut butter and banana waffle as a dessert.
Food is good but nothing special, meaning if I wouldn't lose sleep if I'd never go back. The poached eggs are very well made. I just wish there was an option on the menu to replace the lettuce in the plate by something else (I didn't ask) as I am not much of green vegetables eaters and lettuce would have more a tendancy of ruining the meal than anything else for me. Price is fair, but for the dessert maybe two small waffle would be more fair ? :)
As for the service, it wasn't fabulous, almost bad. I got my plate mixed up with my friend for the Waffle Benedict. I had the regular waffle, she had the potatoe waffle which caused me to eat a bit in the plate before realizing it. The waitress didn't mention it was the potatoe waffle when giving the plate. Also when they served the desert, they just put the plate on the table and I had to put it in front of me which is not great.
