  • Found this place on recommendation of Antica, the body shop next door. The owner Dave is very easy going and personable. Without an appointment he lifted my car to take a look at what was wrong and proceeded to show me, in detail (and plain english) what was wrong with my brakes, exhaust etc. I knew I needed brake and exhaust work, and all other mechanics I visited gave me a rough estimate without explaining how, why or what specific work was required. Dave was happy to have me watch as he inspected my car, and then gave me a very fair estimate. When I picked up my car the next day, the final bill was actually less than he estimated, plus he changed the air filter (something he noticed that needed to be done while he was working on the car) Definitely a positive experience with a trustworthy mechanic in Toronto. Not the closest most convenient location to me (I live downtown), but just north of Finch Subway station (either walk or bus). I'll definitely be seeing Dave again next time my car has any trouble, and will be recommending him to family and friends.
