We called ahead to make reservations around 8 on a Friday night. The soonest available table for 6 people was 9:15 pm.
It was a bit too late for the two little ones so we showed up early in hopes there might be a table.
They offered to seat us in the bar area up front but later on when I passed by the main dining room on the way to the restroom, I saw tons of empty tables. :/
The bar seating is fine for grown ups but tough for little ones due to the height & no backs.
Service was great here. Food was okay.
It is pub food & not meant to be high end frou frou. I tried Ramsay's high end restaurant in Hollywood thanks to DineLA. I LOVED the food there.
I got the Hangar steak with fries here at the pub but thought the steak was under seasoned (for my taste). But it had great beef flavor & was tender.
Fries were ok.
I tried a bite of our friend's fish of his fish & chips (the fries that came with the burger at our table & my steak were all the same.) While the fish was not super moist, the batter was amazing. I'd get the fish & chips were I ever to return. They give you a lot of food with this plate!
Overall, the food is simple but for the price, lacked a little something....extra. I guess you're just paying for the name Gordon Ramsay.
One other thing to note....this is more a Harrah's thing than Ramsay's thing but photographers go around & take pictures of your table & then mildly try to pressure you to purchase the pictures after they print them. What's funny is they photoshop a picture of a pixie sized Ramsay standing on your table. A bit odd!
