  • The wife and I were just recently relocated to Charlotte and decided to spend a gorgeous spring Saturday exploring the neighborhood and its surroundings. By chance, we stumbled across Cloud 9 Confections at the 7th St. Public Market and were blown away by the awesomeness. She got a lemon cupcake with raspberry filling and a buttercream (if I remember correctly) icing, I opted for the cookies and cream cupcake. We -- literally -- cursed simultaneously after our first bite in exclamation of the goodness. My wife, a self proclaimed cupcake connoisseur, raved and raved that they were some of, if not THE, best cupcakes she had ever had (we tried a bite of each others) - I am inclined to agree. The staff were all very pleasant and if I had to guess, we will see the 7th St. Public Market regularly if for nothing else but the Cloud 9 Confections cupcakes.
