  • First off, excellent rates. If you are looking for a bargain then contact Poindexter Moving company. However, you get what you pay for and should do it at your own risk, as I did. My move was on a Sunday morning, 3 guys showed up to move my studio apartment, the move was completed in relative short order, only a few hours. In the end I paid $300, but was left with a damaged mattress, broken lamp, and a badly scuffed up TV stand. I spoke directly with the owner about my situation and he gave me his word that he would make it right. The end result was $15 off my bill for the broken lamp and having to spend my own time dealing with my renters insurance company to replace the damaged items. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in the lack of ownership and professionalism displayed by the company and I cannot in good conscience recommend this moving company to anyone who reasonably values there personal belongings.
