  • This place could be so much better. They are located in a prime spot in Belmont NC and a wonderful structure but the complements end there. We went on Saturday at noon and sat up top on their terrace. Service was slow, they got my beer order wrong, the hamburger was well under cooked to what I ordered. Plus, there is very little option for someone that doesn't eat MEAT, like my wife, however we knew that before coming. I think Nellies Southern Kitchen has potential but I am not so sure if they know what direction they are heading? With other nice places in the area and new places opening, I am sure Nellies will be able to keep it going? I certainly hope so!
