This is really a classic! If you stay in hotels often and are growing weary of the 'standard appointed room' - spend a weekend here! The building is obviously very old but has been kept up, and the rooms are stately and classical. Staff was very helpful...
The internet is not included in the room, but is free in the lobby and club lounge if you need to send a few emails...
I'm really not sure what the parking situation is - I actually showed up in a rental car, circled the building twice looking for a ramp entrance, noticed the subway station on the same block - and punched "Avis" into the GPS... I returned the car to an Avis outfit about 5 blocks south of the hotel as you certainly don't need a car if you're staying in this property. In addition to the nearby subway, the hotel offers a limousine service in the mornings from 7:30 - 9:30 during the week... Pretty baller if you have a downtown client out of walking distance.
The club lounge on the 11th floor is the largest one I've seen, and offers free breakfast in the morning, as well as appetizers, wine, beer, and soda all complimentary in the evenings.
I'll definitely be back!
