Service was extremely slow. The restaurant was 3/4 full, yet only 2 tables had been served food the first 30 minutes we were there even though there were at least 7 waiters on duty. Perhaps the cooks were late coming in or they ran out of a particular ingredient. (I had been to the Scottsdale location where the service was excellent.)
Tempe has turned into downtown Phoenix as far as parking. Meters were $.25/10 mins which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the meal when the service was so slow. My mind was on the meter even though we'd paid for 1.5 hours.
On a positive note, the food was good. The pancakes were magnificent, though I'm not sure the maple syrup was authentic. The Catalan omelet was quite tasty; the chorizo flavorful.
