  • One of the few remaining independent hardware stores in Calgary is also one of its best. Admittedly, I don't go there a lot, but when I do they are always really, really helpful. I usually end up going there thinking I need one thing, only to be guided to the item I actually need. Look, I know what you are thinking: Why go to a small store when you can go to the bigger ones and they'll know that they have exactly what you want and probably for a dollar or two cheaper. But shopping at Hillhurt Hardware just feels right. And you'll be surprised by their selection, no honestly, you will be. By shopping here you are supporting a real family business and that to me is worth spending that extra dollar or two.
