Free parking. Several int resting articles and displays about the frontier life and beginnings of the mounted police in the area. Museum contains displays about the native people of the land too. The gift shop has a small assortment of books and the usual items. Make sure to ask if there are volunteers using the museum treadle (foot powered) lathe. It is not a display it, but if you are lucky you can catch the volunteers working with the lathe. They have the entire history of the historical piece of equipment.
Lots of hands on things for kids to do concerning the displays as well.
