I am really not one to be dictated to. I WAS a patient their I liked the Dr there he was very friendly the first time I came in. I was in a bind...leaving the country and I was on my last set of lenses. I stopped by to set an appt for an eye exam for when I come back and to see if they had a sample pair to tide me over. First I was told by the manager that if I ordered lenses she could give me a sample pair. I explained that I was not ready to make a purchase because I was 100% sold on the lenses. She said well if I don't buy the lenses she wont give me a sample pair...even thought I was a patient and tried to set and appt for an exam.
I explained that I was in a bind and I really could use their help. I did not want to leave the country with only one set of lenses. Then she contradicted herself by telling me since she wasn't the Dr she couldn't give out samples. She has just finished telling me if I order lenses she would give me a sample.
Since she said I had to wait for the Dr's permission, I asked for my prescription and planned on calling back. Funny how when I asked for a sample lenses she need the Dr. to say ok.....but she had no problem signing his name on my prescription.
Service to me is the single most important part of any business. Why would you worry about giving a patient a sample set of lenses(which they get for free). Now they not only lost a patient but hopefully people will read this and go to a true Dr.....not someone just looking to make sales.
