  • Went to Phoenix to attend a wedding. There were 4 of us. Get the car paper work done and get an economy car. Have to go downstairs to get your car and then another counter. When he saw us he said the car you are getting is a Fiat and 4 of you will not be able to fit. Must go back upstairs and upgrade your selection for $34.00 more a day. Very upset go back to the main counter and discover what the attendant had said was not true and they want $80.00/day more for an upgrade. When I said no way they said OK will give you 30% discount. I said give me my money back since the vibe that I getting here is just not right. They said OK but I will be sorry since every other car rental company has sold out and I will be out in the cold. I said I take my chances and went to National And got my mid size care for $45.00 a day. BTW - while I was talking to FOX, there were 3 other parties that showed up with various complaints and wanted their money back. I will never ever consider them for car rental.
