| - I'm 100% sure they did NOT want my business. I wish I could remember my consultant's name, but honestly, it does not make a difference because they were all rude. The ugliness started when we (my bridesmaids and I) called the store to ask for directions. The person on the phone struggled to be patient. After telling her our exact location, she said, "I am very familiar of where that is; My family owns that entire plaza." Ok, we thought, that is great, but why do we need to know that? For the sake of remaining optimistic, we disregarded her comment and proceeded to their store. We were greeted by blank stares. The consultant quickly showed us their inventory. The absolute worst part was the fitting! The consultant clearly did not care to make me feel comfortable. I gave, what I thought was a clear description of what I wanted; mermaid, lace, low back, sweet heart neckline, and NO bows or buttons. After the second dress, she asked how what my opinion was, and before I could reply, she tells me, "You have to give me something. I have no idea what you want." I was in complete shock. Then, after trying on a very different dress, she says, "Do not worry about this part right here (the chest area), I'm telling you this because I know your wedding party is very opinionated." Wow. I was over it. I left the shop completely disappointed at how nasty some people can be. Luckily, my following dress fitting appointments were amazing! They treated us like royalty...and, like they actually wanted my business. I have two friends getting married after me, and I will NOT be recommending Schaffer's to them, or anyone else.
