Stayed here this past weekend. The hotel overall was quite impressive- clean, clean, clean! I'd heard very bad things about the property which used to be The Imperial Palace, but the huge facelift and rebranding have transformed this hotel into something quite attractive. This property is very reminiscent of what you get when you stay at an Aloft Hotel in terms of the boutique feel, modern architecture design, and low room prices.
The rooms are more on the basic/functional side, but with touches of contemporary flair. The beds have a 'just right' firmness and the linens look and feel crisp. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but the walk-in shower is spacious and offers a body wash/shampoo/conditioner dispenser. One large accent wall featuring colorful Vegas-themed wallpaper adds the perfect touch of brightness to the room.
The staff is extremely friendly here. The valet crew is welcoming and extremely helpful and the front desk reps are equally as professional. I didn't have a single negative experience with any hotel staff on any level.
The hotel is centrally located on the Vegas Strip, directly across from Cesar's and features some good dining options and a Starbucks. The casino machines weren't too tight. I broke even at the end of my two day stretch, but I definitely had my share of fun!
I'd absolutely stay here again. A solid 4.
