  • I wanted to put in a new gate as part of landscaping my back yard. Amazing Iron Works was competitive in their bid. The original finished product was completed in a timely manner, but did not meet my expectations as the gate was heavy (large gate with double screen) and the posts originally used were not up to the task of holding the gate plumb. The owner came out and helped work out a solution which included re-doing the posts with larger/longer posts/concrete filled and re-sized the gate to fit the smaller opening caused by the larger posts. I asked for double mesh screening for privacy and the design is very elegant, solid construction, and good powder coat. There were a few chips and scratches from installation which they came out and touched everything up before settling up. Bottom line is the owner of Amazing Iron Works stood behind his workmanship, which is all any of us can ask for when dealing with the trades. The only thing I can suggest is better design review before fabrication to ensure the job is done right the first time which helps keep costs down for everybody. In this day of shoddy workmanship and fly by night contractors who skip town when things go wrong, I commend Amazing Iron Works for their integrity and commitment to supplying a quality custom product. I wholeheartedly recommend Amazing Iron Works for your iron gate/fence project and would be glad to let you see their handiwork on my property.
