  • Came back the next morning to try different menu items. This time brought the parents and we were a party of 4. We arrived around 10am and were told it would be a 20 min. wait. We decided to go for it since we know it was worth the wait. We were seated right around 20-25 mins. later. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as we were told how long the wait was, but we were seeing parties of 2, 3, and 4 that arrived after us being seated before us at 4 top tables. Once we were seated, we promptly were greated by our server Eric. He took our drink orders and brought them out fairly quickly. Our orders were placed and this is where things went a little south. We didn't get our food until after 11:10am. When our food arrived, my pancakes were missing. Eric advised me they were working on them. In the meantime, my mom had spilled her maple syrup and had asked for another. Eric never brought the syrup back so she only ate about half of the pancakes. After another 10 mins. after receiving our food, my pancakes had not yet arrived and I had finished my eggs benedict. Every one else was nearing being done eating as well. I flagged down Eric and let him know he could cancel the pancakes. He apologized and said he would take them off the bill. The pancakes were actually the side to my Benedict, so there was nothing to remove from the bill and when we got the bill, nothing was taken off. The time is now 11:35am and we have to be at a noon appointment, so we quickly paid and left. If this was my first experience here, I would have rated it 3 stars, but because I know service can differ day to day and the day before was point on, I'm only going to remove one star.
