  • This is my neighbourhood LCBO now. I dock it a two stars for two main things: I wish it had a) longer hours and b) more staff. a) Longer Hours: I think a 10PM closing on weekends is a very fair customer expectation to accommodate for busy peeps who are still trying to make a work-life balance happen! b). Staffing/Layout: although the store layout is not great, the selection is not bad. It's just that because the store is shaped like a elongated wedge with the most narrow at the storefront with the cash registers, once you are in the back looking for a specific wine, it is difficult to find any staff wandering the back. This can get frustrating. The staff, when you do find one, will most likely be very nice though. Not sure if this is regular practice but the LCBO is hiding their "higher end" (overpriced) liquor like Grey Goose, Ciroc, etc. With the lack of non-cashier staff and having to bring those out from stocks, I can foresee this may take a while for customers looking to purchase those liquor friends. Lucky for me I go through Duty Free often enough ;)
