  • Simply just not a very pleasurable experience with B2B. Paid a visit the other day based off of killer Yelp reviews. I have a hair place that I frequent, but figured a second option wouldn't hurt. I wasn't overwhelmed with my visit but do understand the good reviews. My hairstylist was rather bossy, but paid super close attention to my cut. It's like he tried his beset, but missed the mark. While trimming my bangs, he just couldn't get them straight. I have a horrible eye for certain things, but I could definitely see right away that my bangs were too short and not even. My biggest complaint with certain stylists are when they don't listen to you. I do care for their professional opinion, however, I'm a frickin' boss and it's MY hair.. SO DO AS YOUR TOLD! Or, in my situation, nicely asked time after time. Overall, the hair cut came out OKAY Unfortunately, the hairstylist cut off about four inches. Three inches too many. When you spend the time I've spent growing out my locks, those three inches mean A LOT. Almost a week later and I'm still bummed about how short my hair turned out. Forty bucks for a trim, layer and style isn't a bad deal. But, you can't put a price tag on my hair. I'd rather pay 100.00 for a great cut, done to my liking. I politely requested that the hairstylist not style my hair and leave it wet. That turned into a bit of an argument. I asked the stylist not to take it personally, I just prefer to style my own hair and I don't like blow dryers near my head. He then informed me that blow dryers are good for your hair and that I can't leave the chair without it being styled. Errr, not really.. okay.. umm.. yeah.. Who's paying who? Please, for the love of Buddha, listen to your client! We have an idea of what we want in our head and as long as you try to make this a reality, there won't be any complaints! More or less, let's just try our best to meet in the middle. With all the options out there, I don't feel I'd go back to B2B. I can't handle another 4 inch cut and silly bangs. I don't feel the stylist was trying to be rude. Some people just read things differently. That's the glass-half-full side of me typing. I'm still giving three stars as I might be a bit on the pickier side.
