I don't really have anything to compare when it comes to Japanese cheesecake since I've never been to Japan or had very authentic Japanese cheesecake. What I do know is that it's lighter than "western" cheesecake and that it's kinda spongelike. Regardless, this is probably my new favourite kind of cheesecake. It's so light and fluffy and delicious. Not overly sweet and it's only $10! I went to the store on Sunday morning around 9:30 and there was only 2 or 3 people in line so I decided to get 2 (you have to buy one, receive the cake then line up again to buy a second one since they limit 1 per person at a time). I definitely wouldn't have done it if they had the usual long line but I lucked out. The cashier was super nice and she was very polite and apologetic about the rules which I'm assuming because she gets a lot of shit for (Be nice to her ppl! She's just doing her job). Another thing is they only accept cash or debit. I'll definitely be back if there's no line up :D
