Actually, I give this hospital zero stars. Worst service of my life. Glass had made a deep cut in my thumb and blood was gushing everywhere, but I was not helped in the emergency room for 6 hours! The security was rude, the receptionist completely unresponsive and condescending, and the nurses and doctors literally told me I needed to cut my hand off in order to get service. After waiting an entire night and morning, the nurse that looked at my finger was surprised that I wasn't helped earlier and could only apologize. I was close to not being able to use my thumb again and it's all because of this hospital. The experience I had at the Montreal General Hospital challenges my outlook on hospitality and healthcare. The people who work here have no moral compass, ultimately comprising a hospital that promotes trauma, not health.
I hope you never have to come to this hospital, but if you do, just hope the nurses don't cut your hand off.
