  • Went for dinner tonight. The food was awful. I ordered a chicken and ribs combo. When they said the ribs were cooking and it would be 10 minutes, I should have walked out. When it finally came, it was just plain bad. The ribs were super tough and chewy. The mac and cheese was mushy, the collard greens were decent. They were the only thing I liked. Even the sweet potato pie was disappointing. Watery texture with a pumpkin pie spice flavor. But the biggest disappointment was the BBQ. There was zero smoke flavor. I threw half of my food out. When I walked out to the parking lot, I noticed they had two grills set up. I don't even think they were serving real BBQ. I think it was cooked on propane. All of the staff had Spanish accents. I think it may have changed ownership. I'm never going back. It was probably the worst BBQ I've had in Phoenix. Oh, and the bathrooms had no soap or paper towels. Gross.
