Gotta be honest, I am from the state of Minnesota and health care there is very good. So I am a little bias, BUT I am also in a healthcare field and know generally how things should work. I arrived early to my first appointment to do the paperwork and such (no one told me to arrive early, I just like to be punctual). I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes to get back to see the physician. Most everyone had been waiting that long. Your appointment time is irrelevant. My only measure of when my appointment might be is by watching who came in the door before me and when they went back. When I finally got back, I had a short 5 minute conversation with the Doctor about how I needed to schedule another appointment to have the procedure I needed done. So I waited 2 hours to have a 5 min conversation about how I have to come back. Ridiculous. I booked a month out for the first appointment. They couldn't get insurance authorization during that month?? Nope I have to wait another two months before I can get the procedure done. Hopefully they have the authorization by then.. I might just fly back to MN to have the procedure done. It will probably cost me less. I don't know anyone else that makes $250/5mins, but that's just me.
