  • Cancel your appointmemt now. This place is a complete scam. I spent $736.00 for a diagnosis of, "bumps." If I wanted more information, they suggested a repeat of the initial procedure plus a needle biopsy. If I really loved my dog, I'd opt for a full surgery. This was a referral from my primary vet. While at AVS, I dealt with Melissa Riensche. She stuck me in an un-air conditioned room and then proceded to fawn over my dog. Obviously, they have a lot of overhead. While in the waiting room, I saw the infamous Dr. Bailey suck up to an elderly woman who could nary afford food. It was sickening. I had mentioned to Dr. Riensche that there had been a problem with her staff obtaining my dog's records. Dr. Reinsche admonished them before we checked out. My parting shot was an interaction with a pissed off clerk saying, "So, you have a problem with us?" To sum up, they padded the bill $236.00 over the initial quote and left me with, "bumps."
