  • Japanese and Italian you say? Morimoto and Batali? Matsui and Torre? Count me in. I rarely give 4 stars on a first visit b/c consistency (in quality, service) is key. And maybe I was just a little loopy on the Sake. But their Hakata Ramen is off the charts awesome. Quite simply, the broth is so rich (not fatty or creamy), flavorful (not salty) and satisfying I ingested everything but the bowl. Truly a "diamond in the rough" as it was billed to me. Nice atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgable servers.
