First impressions are always important... Love the environment they've created here. Feels super rat-pack, 1920s, old Vegas style. The guy at the host stand even had a fedora on.
We were here for dinner with friends, but got here early for a drink. We were greeted at the bar by Emily who might be the friendliest bartender I've met yet. She was super knowledgeable and offered us drink ideas based upon our favorite selections.
The menu has an incredible selection of drinks. It's very speak-easy style. So many great choices!
After the bar we moved to the restaurant. After about 20 minutes, the hostess finally came over and asked if we needed anything and said they would find us a waiter. About 10 minutes after that, we finally had a waiter. He was welcoming and pretty knowledgeable about the menu. We placed our order and the food took over an hour to prepare.
The food was really good. I had a filet minion with the herbs & rye house rub. I also had the Mac n cheese along with the jallepeno corn. My steak temp was not as warm as I'd like it to be.
We ended up not ordering dessert. I would've considered, but was afraid I'd have to wait a long time for it. If they improved their food service, I'd give this place 5 stars.
