  • What an unexpected surprise!! Was in the area and stumbled across the shopping center that Sushi Imagine is located in. Decided to give it a try and so glad we did! They offer Great Lunch $5 Specials: -Monday- Chicken Teriyaki+Tempura -Tuesday is grilled mackerel & Kara-age -Weds- Fried Aji + Kara-age -Thurs- Chicken & Dalmon Teriyaki -Friday- Chicken Curry Rice All served with soup, salad and side of rice Miso soup is tasty and flavorful & side salad is fresh with the ideal Japanese dressing, just enough and not overly saucy. Chicken Kara-age is bomb!! Tastes close to my mom's homemade fried chicken, which is the best fried chicken I've ever had, my date agreed. A couple pieces were a little fatty for my liking but otherwise super juicy, crispy on the outside & flavorful! Spicy tuna had good kick, fresh flavor and the rice is just perfect, which lately we've been missing in our sushi endeavors. Chardonnay served super chilled and refreshing on this hot day was a nice little bonus at $3.95. Our service was friendly & fast with the refills ongoing! Add in a white board of daily fresh offerings, some great classic rock tunes and a wheel of fortune (spend $30 & get a spin to win cash or prizes) for a totally quirky, fresh & delicious sushi experience from a great small business! Wish they were on our side of town so we could make it a frequent rotation; I'd be here all the time!!
