Weekday work lunch - no crowd. Our server was very friendly, went over specials, and made good suggestions. During the course of the meal she was attentive and chatted us up a bit.
A bowl of mussels w large side of fries for $13 and those mussels were huge! The sauce was to Sri based but light and flavored well and had stewed tomatoes, although they were whole and probably could've been chopped up a bit. French fries were pretty good - decent amount of dal and crunch.
My friend had the cordon bleu special and the capicola in the middle was still cold - which was odd to have such temperature difference but still flavorful. And of course he looved the French style mashed potatoes.
The decor was very interesting (see picture of ceiling) featuring local artists and the Art of War all over the ceiling. A fantastic music vibe w bands like Aerosmith. It was absolutely freezing in there! - we were expected to hit 80 that day and I'm a small person so I'm always cold.
They change the menu seasonally and our server recommended a crab stuffed prawn w salsa verde... So I'll definitely be back soon!
