I have a history with this hospital over the years with admits as well as ER
visits. I am also an employee of Banner.
The construction is almost over with the ER and transitional room before you are admitted. The system is before when you check in, waiting, and they have a designated iv section. Much better. Seemed to flow good.
The DR are knowledgeable as well as the testing done is speedy. The concern is when you go into transitional placement you want to have someone there with you. You are waiting for a room and it seems like you are alone in the transitional area.
When you get a room,, it is clean. Good housekeeping! The aide was effective. The nurse explained things and helped you feel so comfortable as you can. Theresa, RN in the am was SO FUNNY and made it better. I still believe you have to be the advocate for your health care. You have to demand your needs and be strong.
They have room service and timely. Food is still hospital food but you do get to choose what you want. What is nice is the continum of care when you are discharged. They send a thank you and call to check up on you. Also, when you go to any banner hospital or dr they have the ability to pull your records so tests are not repeated.
Way to go banner, even though I'm an employee I would recommend this hospital for ER or admit.
