Welllll. I found the exact color/interior combo I wanted. There are only a few for sale in the US and the nice lady at the CarMax out here in Irvine made everything easy. The car looked great in the pictures. I flew out to AZ to grab it since I didn't want to wait around for it to be shipped in..10 days later.
When I got there...EH.......No. The car had obvious signs of wear and tear. Lots of scratches and such that weren't visible in the photos. One of the trunk logos was missing. The second key wasn't original - they just used a cheap silver metal key. It looked ghetto. Now I know I'm whining about keys but these little things add up. You could've gone to Chevy and got an original key for $5. Order one and go get it cut for crying out loud.
They kept saying "Its a 9 year old car of course its going to have wear and tear" DUH! Well if your employees cared about it at all they would touch up the scratches and recondition the car so it doesn't look like its 9 years old. If you can't fix simple little things what else did you just blow off? Are the wheels going to fall off?
The first girl that helped me (Caroline) was pleasant but she had to leave.)They stuck me with someone else who could've cared less if I fell off the face of the planet. I voiced my concerns about the wear and tear. She had piss poor answers on my concerns "its a 9 year old car" "its a 9 year old car." COOL STORY. How about you offer to FIX WHAT I'M CONCERNED ABOUT INSTEAD OF GIVING ME A OH THATS JUST HOW IT IS ATTITUDE.
Props to Ian the manager for being better than his employees.
