I started going to the Casa in 1969 before they even had AC. This special place has drawn more Catholics back to their religion than anything I can imagine. There is a great reverence and welcoming spirit here you can feel by the presence of the Franciscians and the sheer ambiance of the chapel.
Thousands of non- sectarian participants flock to the Casa monthly for retreats, counseling and unique learning experiences. You don't have to be Catholic to appreciate the serenity of this joyous place imparts.
For the many who found their own parishes too stuffy and disconnected and happened on the joy found in masses here find it difficult to move from this special retreat.
Years of Parochial education steered me away... the Casa brought me back.
