| - I just discovered this place is right down the street from me, and I'm so excited! I came on a Tuesday, which I guess is when they have the all day skate session. I thought the $11 admission + skate rental was a bit pricey, but it included two slices of pizza, a small soda, and 4 tokens which is actually a pretty good deal. The food wasn't the most amazing I've ever had, but, it served its purpose.
The skating rink itself is spacious, air conditioned, and has pretty good speakers with a decent music playlist. If you get tired of skating and need to take a break, there's plenty of places to sit. They don't really have many skating rinks around (at least in the Bay Area and other places I've been to), so it's pretty awesome to find this one!
My only complaints are that the shoelaces on the skates I rented were in pretty bad shape. The ends were frayed and I had a difficult time trying to lace them up. I also thought it was weird that you had to pay for admission again if you left the facility for whatever reason (according to a sign on the door); I think they should have a stamp or wristband system in case someone needs to retrieve something from their car or something.
All in all though, I had a great time and can't wait to go back!
