| - These apartments are old, a bit run-down, and maintenance is very slow. The appliances are loud, old, out-dated, from the '80s. The "fitness center" and the pools are a joke. They try to tout these apartments as luxury Summerlin apartments when they're far from it.
Because my apartment is in direct sunlight, it's well over 80 degrees in my apt even though the AC is set at 76. In addition, I have to live in the dungeon with all the blinds closed to try to keep it slightly cooler. The master bedroom is pretty hot, but not unbearable. I had almost $200 electric bills in the summer.
I have a 2 br/2 bath apt. While I do like the amount of closet and storage space and the size of the bedrooms, that's about the only nice thing I can say about the place.
Management and maintenance will be nice to your face, but maintenance talks about you in Spanish in front of your face thinking you can't understand what they're saying. Management gave my new apartment complex an extremely difficult time about sending over the rental review.
I got $30 back from my deposit. They didn't send a list of what they charged me for.
The neighborhood itself is safe and quiet, but I moved out at the end of my lease.
