Check out this walking food tour when visiting Scottsdale. Our guide was Lindsay and she was terrific. Our group was 7 people and met at the historic Mission church in Old Town Scottsdale. This is an easy walk, nothing strenuous. We first visited the Mission Restaurant for street corn and a taco, it was excellent. Next was the Rusty Spur Salon for a slider, again very good, and the salon itself is something to see and live music. The next stop was a little different, Outrageous Olive Oils and Vinegars where we tasted different oils. The staff was knowledgeable and interesting. Bootleggers was next for brisket nachos, a large portion served with a sample of apple pie moonshine. I didn't try the moonshine but the nachos were so good. Last but not least is Shakes and Cones, a family owned organic ice cream shop where we had small fudge sundaes, the perfect way to end the tour. When scheduling the tour they do ask for dietary restrictions. In addition to the food some history of the town is provided.
