  • Not at all impressed with "customer service" here. Probably won't come back. I came in for a part. Not sure where the parts department was, pulled up in front of a group of 5 employees outside chatting w/ each other. Not one of them acknowledged me after rolling my window down & saying, "excuse me...". Ended up having to raise my voice/demand "where is the parts department?" Add insult to the already unresponsive injury- one of them simply pointed while turning their back to continue their conversation. I went through the "pointed at" doors to several desks, with employees present. Acknowledgement=0. Had to say, "excuse me!" AGAIN for someone's attention & again, 1 one points back to another counter... by now, I feel like I'm not of importance/concern to anyone at this dealership. Parts counter: AGAIN, employee(s) did not even look up. None acknowledged me until I AGAIN was firm in saying, "EXCUSE ME, please HELP!" FINALLY being helped... until rudely: "I need the VIN or your wasting my time." Wow... so, I go get registration. From walking out/in they began PROMPTLY assisting a lady who came in AFTER me. While I sat & waited a good 20 minutes all while the congregation of chatting personnel continued. After gaining the part needed, I was unable to replace the part as needed, which in fact involved needing some tools & a bit more than the simplicity assumed. Tried to ask another attendant outside to ask for help with placing the new part. At first, it didn't seem promising in response. Gave instructions, but suddenly decided to walk to my vehicle & lend a hand- which was MUCH appreciated! While assisting, he noticed that a basic tool was needed. Switched gears & said, "hang on a sec I'll go grab a screwdriver so you don't have to wait until you get home." To which, he did & took time to HELP! It was SO appreciated I can't applaud this 1 enough for being the 1 in the entire place that took 5 minutes to show CUSTOMER SERVICE! Seemed unlikely at first, but ultimately the reason I am giving this ANY stars. Without him taking notice, care & a few minutes to help fix a part I just gave business & paid for- this place would get 0 stars. Because what is even more sad on their part- I went there also considering trading my car in to purchase a new one. I WAS going to check out an upgrade to a new model, hopefully & possibly driving away in a new vehicle... but it wasn't just the service/parts department that is 0 in customer service- the ENTIRE front line was awful. Usually car salesmen are leaches you can't get rid of... couldn't even get ONE of the MANY standing around to acknowledge me or visually grasp a potential sale as I'm looking at other vehicles for sale around the lot! NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE OFFERED TO HELP ME! It was a Subaru dealer in Chandler... Not like an 18 year old ASU student at the Scottsdale Porsche dealer looking for fun & test drives of status. So, I found the entire facility to be extremely RUDE, careless & not at ALL a dealership I will ever recommend or return to. Thank you to the ONE gentleman who assisted me with my tiny part replacement. For the rest of the establishment: FIX YOUR SAD EXPERIENCE! I will absolutely/gladly take my NEW CAR BUYING experience to the location on Bell Road & the 101 where they were MORE than polite in promptly asking how they could help when I stopped in last night (parts department was closed, unfortunately) who told me operating hours & to please come back. SHOULD have gone back to THAT one to begin with! The one in Chandler is unfriendly. So, thanks for simple, plastic part. At least I got the simple part & one rare employee's help. But I'll go ahead and take my REAL business to a location & personnel that treat me with dignity & respect, who greet, welcome & offer to HELP. Most likely different owners between locations because it shows! Also makes sense I was unaware of this location to begin with before Maps picked it up as close to work... not really worth direction or mentioning. The reason for review is awareness. Hopefully no one else has to experience feeling so insignificant with BASIC help on a simple part! Would have considered bringing my current vehicle there for service if the experience was anything worthwhile... canceled that one out right out of the gate. Good luck to your picky personnel practice.
