I've had Progressive Pest Control for about 3 years and my parents had them for about 7 or 10 years. Their service is relatively affordable although I was paying the same for my 900 square foot house as they were paying for their 2900 square foot house. I didn't have any problems with the actual service as they were timely and very nice whenever I needed to speak with them. The problem came when it was time to cancel my service with the original intention of getting them again at my new home. When I called and said I needed to cancel service, I was told that there was a cancellation fee of over $100 because I "signed a 12 month contract". I knew that I had been with them for 3 years and never signed anything since I started service so I wanted to see how far it would go. I told the woman that I never signed anything and she was adamant that I had signed a 12 month contract this March. She even said "hmmmmmm" as if she was looking at my account and assured me that I owed the cancellation fee. When I told her to produce the contract that I signed in March, she became rude and continued to dismiss me and acted like she was looking at my account. When I finally said I had been with them for 3 years and still wanted a copy of the contract that I allegedly signed in March she told me that I "don't need to worry about it now". The funny thing is that they did THE EXACT SAME THING to my parents. I would be careful with this business and know if you signed anything because they will try to get money that you do not owe.
