  • I agree with most of the other posts, this library is an excellent workspace, and houses amazing resources. The library is bright and open, has ample work space (plenty of tables and kiosks), and fantastic views - especially the views of the strip from the sciencey citations on the 5th floor! Reference computers are abundant, and aside from the angsty student workers at the first floor checkout, staff are very helpful and friendly. Plus, the LASR (Lied Automated Storage and Retrieval) system is a robotic book grabber for some of the references stashed away in giant compact stacks - how cool is that?! I wish I had a library like this where I went to college instead of our dark gothic inspired dungeon...
