I know this place has been around for a long time and that people seem to love it, but honestly, I just can't figure out why. Every time I've had dinner here, the service is awful and the food is only decent. The server is never around, so if you want a drink refill, I say good luck to you! Our server waited so long to come back one night that my brother and I started to wonder if we were supposed to take our own plates to the kitchen. The only reason I go to Jordan's in the first place is because it's some sort of tradition that when any family member comes into town, we either go here or to Macayo's. I don't know. I just go with it. But what intrigues me the most is that as bad as my experiences here have been, I can tell that other people genuinely like this place. The staff seems to always know the names of the surrounding diners, which means they're either regulars of this establishment or dare I say it...family members? Either way, I know next time my aunt comes in to town, I'll be back at Jordan's staring at an empty glass of Dr. Pepper and wondering if the server went to Mexico to refill the chip bowl.
