  • Never again will I step foot in a Living Spaces store, and I will ensure no one I know or ever meet from this point forward does either. After ordering a couch and paying for it in full on 5/29 and being told it would be delivered on 6/12 (not estimated, but scheduled), as of 6/11 I had still heard nothing. After calling 4 times between 6/11-6/20, I was lied to multiple times by customer service agents who told me my couch would be arriving in "the next few days" and to "call back if I didn't hear anything". Finally on my fourth call to their useless customer service department, I was told it would be "early July". No date, no promise, no offer to cover delivery charges, nothing but "sorry the sales person promised you a date without knowing better - they shouldn't have done that". During that call, after asking to speak with managers multiple times, I was promised by the Guest Services Manager Jackie that I would be receiving a call back THAT EVENING from the GM at the Scottsdale store. Sticking with their long trail of lies thus far, I never received a call from the GM, nor did I receive an email or any further communication for that matter, from anyone at Living Spaces for weeks to come. Finally on 7/14 (a full month after my couch was promised to be delivered to me), I called yet again, was given absolutely no information, and in fact this time was told they had no information whatsoever or ability to even estimate when my couch would be delivered. I immediately canceled my order (again, with little to no remorse from the useless service agents and no effort at all to make anything right). The next day, I went and bought a different couch from Ashley Furniture and will recommend it to everyone I know. Throughout this experience, each "customer service agent" was more useless than the next, made no attempt to right their wrongs, and getting in touch with any member of management is near impossible, even after calling and leaving voicemails for their EVP of Guest Services. They also conveniently do not have any direct number or way to contact the local stores, and will not give it to you despite how many times you ask. If I could give zero stars, I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!
