| - By 'big breakfast' they really do mean BIG BREAKFAST. Affordable breakfast place with a straightforward menu, and a few locations scattered throughout Phoenix. We hit the 1st street location on a Monday morning, 8:30 am, and apparently beat the rush - as a party of two, we were seated immediately, but as we ate we watched with some surprise as pretty large groups kept coming in and were willing to wait for quite awhile - can they not tell it's a tiny location with primarily tables for two? As for the food, my tomatillo/eggs/tortilla/pinto beans were pretty good, though not the unforgettable experience I'd expected, judging by the other Yelp reviews which guided us here in the first place. My husband outright hated his eggs & salami scramble, describing the salami as 'rancid.' But honestly, eggs and salami together sounds awful anyway, so perhaps he should have played it safe and gotten a classic eggs & bacon option. Coffee refills slowed down as the place became more and more busy.
Anyway. We're glad we tried it as it filled us up for several hours, and it didn't break the bank.
