  • I live here and had two friends visiting and decided to do a kayak tour. I selected to self drive at the meet up point which is about an hour away from where I live and about half way there you lose service and once you arrive, it's pretty hard to find where they were but with a little driving around and spotting the many kayaks, it didn't take us long to figure it out. The kayak tour to emerald cave was absolutely gorgeous. Weather was well in the 100's but the water was perfect and cold that it balanced out the heat. Our tour guides (can't remember their names) were great and was there to help when you need it. There was always one at the front leading and one at the back to stay behind for the ones who were a bit slow (me!) Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for something to do outside of the strip. Las Vegas has so much potential outside of the strip, and they also provide a shuttle too!
