| - This is a review for mani+pedi for $35*
I finally decided to go to Nailsense after having a not-so-good job at another place. I had an appointment at 11:30 but came earlier. Upon arriving here, I was taken aback at how crowded this place was! The guy behind the counter gave me a warm welcome and kindly told me that there was a Starbucks nearby and I can wait until my appointment there or, take a look at the nail polish colours beforehand.
There was alot of colours to choose from but I was quick to find my colour of choosing. It was a nice autumn-feeling orange (:
I decided to go to the Subway nearby for brunch and then came back at :11:30 when thankfully, I was seated right away for my pedicure. I usually don't have alot of experiences with nail salon/spa places so I get super awkward but what made this particular experience easier was because one of the ladies working was actually someone I knew (small world, huh?)
For the duration of my pedi, I was mostly absorbed by the movie playing on their TV hung up on the wall (playing The Artist). The lady doing my pedicure was Dina and did a swift job in giving my legs/feet/toes a happy feeling. I was then given a manicure almost right away after my manicure was done, which again, was swiftly done and efficient.
The experience was quick except for the drying part---oh god, I always hate the drying part, because they kind of just leave you there until you have enough courage to ask them to check your nails.
Overall, am I coming back? Yes, sir. Would I suggest this place to others? Yes, sir. (:
